This building at 410 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago was built by Studebaker in 1885 for the assembly and display of carriages and wagons. Known today as the Fine Arts Buildings, it was converted into studios and theaters for artists and craftsmen in 1898. The renovation included the addition of three floors.
