There are at least 3 Studebaker facilities still standing in New York. One of them, at 131st Street, was built in 1923 and used as an assembly plant/finishing facility until 1930. Since then the building has had a number of tenants, including Borden, who used it as a milk processing plant, and the Madame Alexander Doll Company. It is currently owned by Columbia University and used for staff offices. Columbia is in the process of renovating the building. According to Columbia's website, the restoration will respect "the exterior and interior historic fabric of the building."

This building stands at the corner of Bedford and Sterling Pl. in Brooklyn. We're not sure what Studebaker originally used this facility for, or what it is currently. Please
contact us if you can provide information on this facility.
